Jamelle & Jason have known each other for over 13 years. When you been each other that long pre-engagement, I’m pretty certain you’ve worked out all the little kinks that come up in relationships. A little over four weeks ago Jason decided to pop the question. She said yes and their wedding will be in July of 2011.
This couple is lovely in every way possible. We had a ton of fun at Silo Point (my new favorite location to shoot) and they were open to everything I wanted to do. We had no idea what we going to get, because it poured the whole day until we arrived. Then the sun came out in between storm clouds, creating an absolutely beautiful light.
Here’s a few from the session.
Day After & Engagement Sessions with Mary :: Maryland Portrait Photographer
Kristel wanted to do something related to water for the Day After Session. Literally, she wanted to submerge herself in water in her dress. To say the least, I was totally thrilled with the idea. So, off to Patapsco State Park on a very hot summer evening we went in search of water… a waterfall. Her hubby, Nick, wanted nothing to do with water. But, he was a good sport about the whole process and we ended getting some fabulous images from the session.
Thanks to Elisha (our album design queen and photog extraordinaire) for sending us in the wrong direction and taking really pretty pictures. ;0)

Engagement Sessions with Mary :: Ellicott City, Maryland
Kristy and Giovanni are a beautiful couple and so sweet together. They live in Ellicott City and wanted it as the backdrop for their session. We had a ton of fun exploring the area and getting to know one another. Congrats you two and I wish you a fabulous wedding in Cartagena, Colombia!

Giovanni has two fabulous sons that I met towards the end of the session.
